I have several slings and wraps, but this one is exclusively my husband’s. It has more padding and support than the Baby Bjorn, and he says it’s more comfortable and less warm. The baby is right against his chest, instead of in a full pocket of material, so the air circulates more. And the extra padding makes it easier to wear for longer stretches of time. He’s able to wear the baby while working on the computer or doing stuff around the house. Keeps the baby happy and lets the husband get stuff done.

I love this carrier. I had a differetn carrier, but it never felt comfy for me and always hurt my back and shoulders. This new carrier is so comfy for both my daughter and me. I have used it for a few hours straight with no problem at all. My daughter even falls a sleep while she is in it. I recommend this to other parents.

Buyer beware! I was totally happy when I first bought this product because it was more comfortable than others I tried. However, when the baby arrived and we started using it, I noticed that my baby’s head came really close to the prongs that are designed to adjust the height of the shoulder harness. As my baby got older and started to be able to control neck and head, the same prongs actually scratched his head in a number of places – coming dangerously close to his eye. I returned the product and purchased a Baby Bjorn, which has a much better design on this part of the carrier but is not as good on lumbar support.

Having a sling is a lifesaver now that my 5-week old baby has decided she needs to be held at all times. I wear her in this for several hours a day and we both get some peace and quiet.

This particular sling is better than others we tried in a couple ways:

1 – Provides some head support for a newborn who cannot support her own head

2 – Overall design and straps comfortably support infant weight to avoid back strain

A bit more detail on the competition – we originally purchased the Ergo carrier after reading the great reviews, and will probably use it in the future, but it just didn’t provide enough head support for our newborn. We went to Babies R Us and tried on all the floor models, including the Baby Bjorn, and this one seemed most comfortable for mom and baby.

This has been great! Both my husband and I can use it. I am 6′0″ and 145 pounds and my husband is 6′4″ and about 240 and is very muscular and both of us are able to use it. We used it when our baby was about a month, but it didn’t support his head as much as we liked. We tried it again at 2 months and it was still the same thing, but a little better. By 3 months however, we could turn him so he could face out and look and it was great. He is 6 months now and still uses it. It has a nice feature where you slide a zipper and select the range of age so that they will fit perfect in it. We use it a lot for things like shopping. It is nice cause when he was 3 months we started to notice a flat spot on the back of his head so this came in handy to keep him off his back during the day. This one also has good padding for your shoulders.
