ERGO baby carrier – Why I love it!

Ergo Baby Carrier

The Ergo baby carrier has been the number one choice for my family. We just love it. The baby wraps are great for being a home and for the very newborn stage… but if you just want to buy one superb carrier… I would look at the ERGO Baby Carrier.

With their specially designed ERGO Infant Insert, you would be able to carry your newborn in a lying down/cradled position. Once your baby got a bit bigger… usually around 13-14 weeks, he/she will be able to sit up and wrap their legs around your belly. By 5 months or so, you can start trying to carry your baby on your back. Once they hit the toddler stage, having them on your back is much easier as it allows them to see all around, but also helps you with the weight.

Besides it being great from newborn to toddler, the Ergo baby Carrier is easy to use when you are out and about town running errands. Although I loved using my baby wrap, I found it difficult in the winter months to lug around bolts of material and twist and tie it around my body. With the Ergo, it was so easy with a few clicks, one on your waist and the other behind your shoulder blade, you were ready to go.

Also, the other great thing is that it is the one carrier I found that allowed my baby to have his legs wrapped around my hips. Some of the other carriers, I found hung my son from his crotch, leaving red marks if we used the carrier too long. With the Ergo, we could go for hours and we would both be very comfortable.

This baby infant carrier made me fall in love with baby wearing. Hope you too find the true gems in this carrier.
