Is the Ergo Baby Infant Carrier a baby gift basket must have?

Do you know someone that is having a baby and you are trying to figure out what to get them? Well, I have put together Baby Infant Carrier’s 7 MUST HAVES to add into the basket. And to answer the question, YES, an Ergo Baby Infant Carrier is a must have for any new parent.

The Ergo Carrier can be used for a newborn to a toddler, it easy to put on and take off. But most importantly it has an ergonomic  designed in that it supports a correct sitting position for the baby’s hip, pelvis and spine growth. Unlike some other carriers that hang the baby by the crotch, the Ergo disperses most of the baby’s weight between the hips and thighs, which helps to eliminate compression of the spine. I initially tried to use a blanket, but then eventually purchased this insert. It fit perfectly and wrapped my little girl up. She was even able to discretely breastfeed while we were in public.

To round up the basket, there is the baby whisperer work book that can be used to problem solve any sleep issues… and of course, the DVD the Happiest Baby on the Block. I think this DVD saved my marriage. It gave us the tools to deal with our colicky newborn and soothe her to sleep. Make sure you get the DVD and not the book. It is much easier to get through and watch over and over again.
