Playtex Hip Hammock Standard Black/Black
I mentioned this carrier on Halloween night a few days ago. But I thought I’d do a review as we have had so many people just love this baby carrier.
The Playtex Hip Hammock is not recommended for a newborn and it isn’t the tradition sling carrier. Instead, it is to help aid you carrying your baby on your hip. It is both compact and light. Therefore, once rolled up, it is good for traveling. Unlike some of the carriers with a lot of straps or buckles, this carrier has been known for its ease to get on and off. Some of the bad reviews don’t take into account that it isn’t meant to replace your other baby carriers, instead it is only meant to aid you in holding your toddler on your hip.

Preferable to a stroller in crowded public areas, this child carrier holds baby right next to a parent at a comfortable level for viewing her surroundings. Unlike many other carriers, this one balances baby on one hip instead of directly in front of the body. The benefits are that it is easier to walk or do household tasks without baby’s legs limiting Mom’s motion or her body blocking Mom’s reach. Love the pouch

Two years of use … and counting
