Twin baby carrier- Can you carry 2 infants at the same time?

I never thought about what it would be like to use a baby infant carrier for twins. One of the main reasons I use my carriers now is so that I don’t have to unpack my stroller for small errands. But with twins, I just figured there wouldn’t be any other option. That was until I came across a photo of the mom carrying twins in her Moby Wrap baby carrier. It is probably more important for parents of twins to have their hands free and their babies soothed. Luckily there are a few options.

Firstly the Weego Twin baby carrier is actually designed for twin babies as small as 3lbs! There are 2 orthopedically correct small pouches that place the babies close together and close to you while you go for a walk or go shopping. This carrier is great until about 5-6 months. And is about $150USD to purchase.

There is also the Baby K’tan’s twin baby carrier. This is actually a double sling system that has your babies upfront but to the side. There is also built in back support for the parent and even extra fabric for a nursing cover. This one is easy to use as there is no wrapping of fabric. It is suppose to be a carrier for both infants and toddlers, but I am unsure how well it would actually carry two 25 lbs toddlers with ease. Nonetheless, for the newborn stage, it is a great affordable option at about $60USD.

And lastly, one of my favorite, the Moby wrap baby carrier has the option to carry twin infants as well. This one can definitely be used from infant to toddler. As infants they can be side by side securely on the front. Then as they grow, you can adjust the position so that you have one toddler on the front and one toddler on the back with a different style carrier or as a twin mom pointed out, she carries her second on her hip. The fabric is stretchy and can fit adults of different sizes. You also can’t be the price affordability at the price of $40USD. You can check out some of the colors in our store above.

Luckily there options that can give moms of twins the freedom and flexibility found in a great twin baby carrier.
